“THE TUBER’S AROMA” & Other Visual Poems of Scent by J.I. Kleinberg

a rustic perfume / tutors the desired / my locked thoughts / of the innate landscape / humid and decadent.

the immediate aroma / of that fog-scented lettering / thin layers of fiction, / like objects in light. / is everything storytelling

THE TUBER'S AROMA / a thick rope of perfume / redolent of restaurant warmth, / the lingering smell of summer hillsides.

complex rain / breezes absurd, / ADVENT OF FRAGRANCE / that springtime reunion

sauce of the springtime / summer side of steam / sunlight-scented love.
